Professional Practices Inventory

Individual Teacher Results

Welcome to the Sample PPI Teacher Results Page.

You are about to view results just as a teacher would after completing the PPI.

The PPI is an online self-assessment taken by every teacher in a school district. After a teacher completes the inventory they will have access to an individualized online report.

As you will see in the following pages, the PPI Individualized Teacher Results allow you to view your data in a number of useful ways. You will be able to see your strengths and weaknesses in each area correlated to the state teacher standards. You will also be able to view your level of interest in staff development in each area.

This report is a valuable resource when teachers are setting professional goals, looking for professional development opportunities, or writing a Professional Development Plan. Results include relevant examples of how each standard looks in best practice classrooms.

The inventory is completely anonymous. No one will ever see the individual results except the teacher who completed the self-assessment.

Your district can use aggregate data to plan staff development activities that are relevant, useful and well received. For the first time, teachers will have an opportunity to influence the content and delivery of the staff development they will receive.

Regional Service Agencies and Universities in your state that offer continuing education courses will be given access to the aggregate results so they can offer courses that meet the needs of teachers in the area. The results will also be shared with the undergraduate colleges and universities where teachers graduated from so they can improve their teacher preparation programs.
